PARS Training for Afterschool, Breakfast & Holiday Clubs

This is a 1 day in-house training course for Playworkers in afterschool and holiday clubs in Southwark. It will consider how to incorporate more space and time for children to play without adult direction, which at times, can seem disorganised and unproductive to onlookers. This course is an introduction to PARS playwork practice and aims to enable practitioners to articulate what they are doing and why. Consequently, this will support settings in their Ofsted inspections as well as in talking to parents, owners and other professionals such as head teachers.
